Corporate Atrocity of the Week

Be sure to boycott Superstore and especially their Joe clothing line. These corporations always act like these clothing factory disasters are not their fault: "Oh, it wasn't us...it was those shady factory operators we hired." Evil comes from the top down. Nobody denies the Nazi leadership was involved with WW2 atrocities, so why will our government allow the Loblaws leadership to go unpunished for the deaths of so many innocents. How about the Harper government launch a Canadian invasion force (like D-Day) to rescue these poor people? Except these divisions wouldn't be attacking the Bangladeshi government, who actually tried to warn the building operators in the days before; the Canadian army should be destroying the Loblaws organization as they are the true perpetrators of the crime. I would love to see a Canadian armoured division smashing into the Loblaws headquarters and storming the building with a vengeance: "Take no prisoners!!!"

When we will get to vote for a government that is not totally and absolutely controlled by corporate interests? You never hear of any party saying they will break up monopolies, stop the tax breaks, raise corporate taxes, or raise tariffs. Don't worry about the lost minimum wage jobs. People need things, and small business will always be there to provide them. Small businesses charge more but they also pay higher wages and provide a more honest form of security. Not every small business owner is an angel, but if they are a devil, they affect so few people compared to a psychopathic corporation.

The government should be looking out for both the short and long term interests of the whole population, every citizen. The NDP always claim to be, but I have yet to see the post-trade unionist NDP show any initiative to do much of anything except pander for votes. I think a completely new party is due to evolve. The very far right and very far left have so many common elements and similar stances. They need to find a meeting place, band together, and provide the moral and intellectual alternative so many of us are longing for.

What we need first is a name...any propositions? I know...The Canadian People's Front or The People's Front of Canada:
